In drawing class I gave the children an apple in a jar. Every new lesson they can make a sketch of the apple, to follow and record precisely the decaying process. At the same time they learn how to draw different textures, look closely at color, shades and the use of materials other than pencil.
One condition: the jar must stay closed. No exception.

And ofcourse I drew the apple myself.
