"Since I was a kid, I was in love with the sky, the beauty of it, the freedom of it, like I could just float up forever," #LaurieAnderson tells BBC Radio 4's Front Row presenter Tom Sutcliffe in a conversation about her upcoming album, Amelia, due August 30 on Nonesuch. The record comprises twenty-two tracks about renowned female aviator #AmeliaEarhart’s tragic last flight. Anderson, who Pitchfork says, “sees the future, but she starts by paying attention,” wrote the music and lyrics.
