Looks like I get to buy myself a present for christmas, yay!
The reason is that something (maybe a #kernel update?) broke my #wifi again. I have an adapter with #realtek #rtl8814au chip which doesn’t have official #linux support, and the community-provided driver (for which I am extremely grateful!) breaks sometimes with updates. Usually I just switch to lts kernel until the driver is updated, bit this time even that doesn’t seem to help. And my patience for this stuff isn’t getting better :(
