Back from a productive and reinvigorating week in Swansea at #RSECon23 . We got a large number of the team along in person and we presented talks, posters, walkthroughs and BoFs. There was work from the Institute of Computing for Climate Science and the @COZL

Right now at #RSECon23 a panel on RSEs in academic vs. RSEs in industry. Inevitably there's a lot of discussion on pay and benefits (which I find a bit depressingly reductive), but also useful visibility of the variety of #RSE roles that exist.
