Ripples and LeavesJust returned from a lovely visit to the Purdon Conservation Area. It's a area full of gorgeous orchids. We hit the peak, when countless flowers were in bloom. It was definitely a hidden gem!

Back from a backcountry hiking trip. The weather was more fall-like, than summer-like, with rain, but that's OK. No bugs, no crowds, crisp air - dreamy!
After the long backpacking camping hike, we did one more hike in a pine forest on the way home. It was almost spiritual with cool mist and deafening quiet.
