Another photo from my morning walk. This time facing in the opposite direction. Again the bank of fog is sitting on the #RiverConon. At the end of the field on the skyline is our local #CommunityWoodland with its distinctive #MemoryTrees. You can just see the top of #TheBlackIsle appearing above the fog.

By the time we came back from our walk the fog had spread over this field.

Forgot to post this from my morning walk. A beautiful morning, with a bank of fog on the #RiverConon. You can just see the top of a hill above the fog bank and, if you zoom in, you can see another fog bank between that and the hill next to it.

A view of the Cromarty Firth and mouth of the River Conon. Taken from stubble field above Maryburgh. Rhona, my cocker spaniel, has managed to photo bomb the photo.

The contrast between the bright mist which forms over the River Conon at this time of year and the auroral night sky was stunning. Auroral arc looking towards Dingwall from Conon Bridge

What a fantastic morning. After all the fog and rain of the last week its lovely to see Conon Bridge and the Black Isle in all their glory. And yes, our dog managed to photobomb the picture.

Taken from Brahan estate.
