Justice Sandra Day O'Connor was a pioneer in public policy and judicial service. As the "center" of the court late in her term, she did so much to move our society forward. I met her several times and enjoyed attending her lectures over the years. Her devotion to caring for her husband, John, and her tenacity in facing her dementia was inspiring. My love and prayers go out to her family. May she rest in peace and rise in power. #ripsandradayoconnor
