David Kock has spent billions of dollars in far right funding โ they started the Tea Party which later metastasized into the MAGA movement. By 2013 he was sitting on the board of Trustees of WGBH a Boston station that produces large amounts of programming for NPR and PBS

Quick caveat: I am not a reporter, much of the information I know about NPR and PBS and Kock Brothers roles in these are from me causally being aware of it from the early 2010s. There is a LOT of information on Kock Industries and where they got their money from Oil and Gas and that they were early Climate Change deniers.
Two years ago I searched for the Kock Brothers influence into NPR and I had a number of good sources. Today having spent . . . I don't know . .. an hour. I seem to not be able to reproduce those results. This is what I found thus far.
In the early 2010s David Kock made a push to influence change through corporate donations on a broad scope of areas โ college boards โ changing journalism programs to bothside-sism, Public Radio and Television and other areas.
