To suggest something relevant, you might want to suggest content that is a little different.

Get recipes that contain "pasta" but NOT "sausages"

2. "Avocado Fattoush With Mint Vinaigrette Recipe"
Lots of other "avocado" recipes.

You can also discover content gaps, e.g. when you realize you only have one "fattoush" recipe, and it's not the classic one.

"straight fit single button blazer"

Blazer seems to be the main feature (135 options).

With "single button": only one other blazer available
With "straight": 5 others
With "straight-fit": 2 others

zara.com has a large variety of blazers (135), most of which have little in common with this one.

I'm sure that the dream of companies like Google, Meta & Amazon is to drive our very lives through their #relevancy feed.

The "perfect human being" they thrive to create will not bump by chance into someone in the street, or find that family picture again, after having thought for years that it was irremediably lost.

No, their lives will follow algorithmic patterns, most of the times invisible ones - to preserve the illusion of randomness in a totally predicted and controllable existence.
