Ah well, another #rejectionSlip for a short story I'd submitted to a mag, interestingly with no email — I've been checking their submission portal obsessively and they finally pulled the trigger lmao. At least they held onto it for a fairly long time (20+ days in an average response time of 5 days) so maybe it at least went past the first readers, or something? Or maybe people were just busy 🤷‍♀️ I'll be looking out for some more experimental/hybrid calls next, since it's fairly unconventional with no capitalization and two-column layout. #LjWrites
