This one may take a bit: I have been trying to make it through the Zscaler ThreatLabz 2024 Ransomware report. There is a lot of good information here but I haven't got to it all yet. So I will share the highlights first!

Key Findings from the ThreatLabz researchers:
- The largest ransomware payment of $75,000,000 USD.
- Top targets were manufacturing, healthcare, and technology industries.
- The United States is the top target that is ALMOST half of all attacks (49.95%).
- 19 new ransomware families emerged.
- Most active families: LockBit, BlackCat (a.k.a. ALPHV), and 8Base.
