New Raleigh Water Self-Service Billing Portal Has Launched! Here’s What You Need to Know

💧 New Raleigh Water Self-Service Billing Portal Has Launched

Raleigh Water has officially launched its new Self-Service Billing Portal, giving customers a faster, easier, and more reliable way to manage their utility accounts. This updated system is designed to improve user experience, enhance accessibility, and streamline account management for households and businesses across Raleigh.

If you currently use the old online billing portal, there’s one important step:

👉 You must create a NEW account.

All existing online users will need to register again to access the new system. This ensures a secure transition and allows the new portal to provide upgraded features.

🔁 Using autopay? Don’t forget to re-enroll.

If you were previously signed up for automatic payments, you’ll need to re-enroll inside the new system. Autopay settings do not transfer from the old portal.

A New Way to Manage Your Utility Account

The new Self-Service Billing Portal offers an improved customer experience with features such as:

Easy-to-navigate dashboard Faster access to billing statements Secure and simplified payment options Mobile-friendly account management Streamlined autopay setup Better communication tools for Raleigh Water alerts and updates

Whether you’re checking your balance, making a one-time payment, or reviewing usage data, the updated portal makes managing your utility account simpler than ever.

Leaf Collection Options This Fall

As we enter the fall season, the City of Raleigh is offering multiple ways to manage leaves and yard debris responsibly. And this year marks an important update:

🍁 Final Season of Loose Leaf Collection Begins November 12

Raleigh’s traditional Loose Leaf Collection Program begins Nov. 12—and this will be its final season. The City is transitioning to more sustainable and cost-effective options for future years.

Residents still have two additional leaf disposal options this fall:

Option 1: Bagged Leaf Collection

You can place leaves in clear plastic bags or paper yard waste bags for pickup on your regular collection day. Bagged collection is cleaner, more efficient, and reduces leaf debris in storm drains.

Option 2: Weekly Yard Waste Cart Collection

If you have a yard waste cart, you can continue placing leaves inside it each week. This is the fastest and most reliable ongoing method for leaf disposal.
