Huh, does #Emacs do implicit bidi isolation based on the current syntax table or… ?
Curiosity inspired by looking at the #Raku documentation and spotting an example that looked a complete mess in the browser because the Arabic string literal in it wasn't bidi-isolated. A few trivial checks in python-mode in Emacs seems to isolate string literals but not identifiers, but I don't know what it's doing in full.
There's a new EU Cyber Resiliency Act that requires software vendors to prove clean code through all dependencies, so Raku folks develop a new software bill-of-material (BOM) module to help compliance with that, and I noticed some discussion on irc.libera.chat #raku to the effect that best practice might be "create and constantly use a Nix or Guix definition (in Nix it is called „flake“ these days) that works with the „—pure“ flag" (quoting rcmlz)
