A memory triggered by one of the "hashtaggames" (not tagging, because this isn't part of a game...), something I used in one of my toots.
It's a science fiction short story by Robert A. Heinlein, called "And He Built a Crooked House". Relatively well-known, I believe? I won't give away the plot - spoilers suck if you haven't already seen/read/heard something, even if it's older than I am; hell, it's older than my parents.
Anyway, I first read it as a kid, around age 9-10. And it made an impression on me. I never forgot it, even though that was more than 4 decades ago.
I'm curious whether anyone else had the same experience with this story, or more generally, something else you read that stuck with you from childhood, over all the other things you read and basically forgot about afterwards.
