Finally finished watching the recent series of #raceacrosstheworld - which despite my earlier misgivings was actually quite enjoyable.

My wife said to me "Could you do it" and my immediate reaction was 'no'. I think that in my late teens and early 20s I'd have embraced the whole thing (except I've never been competitive). I've always wanted to do traveling, and did some pretty interest cycle touring before I got married, but life gets in the way, and the security blanket gets nice and cosy!
