Quern is a great puzzle game, but after Riven, I was left disappointed. Cyan's worlds are fully embodied by their puzzles, while Quern often bombards the player with riddles just for the sake of it, at times debasing itself with inventory puzzles and pure adventure game logic.
ArtéanNow that I think about it, the devs of Quern: Undying Thoughts (a great Myst-like adventure game, you should play it if you haven't already) have launched a Kickstarted for their upcoming game : Dimhaven Enigmas.
It looks like it'll put a greater focus on the story, so I'm very eager to play it! There are still 20 days left to contribute.
