Thank you #PyConUS for the wonderful first-time experience! I had a ton of fun and enjoyed getting to know so many new people. It's great having a bunch of faces to put to names. And I appreciate everyone's tolerance of my introducing myself with "hi I'm Tim, I follow you on the internet" 😁

And shout out to all the organizers and staff who put on the event! I'm grateful for everything you did to give us the space to collaborate effectively 🥰

Packing it in. If I'm up early enough maybe I can say more goodbyes in the AM, but otherwise this is it for me and #PyConUS 🥹
If anyone at #PyConUS sprints wants to try pair-programming remotely with https://github.com/magic-wormhole/shwim I'll be up here in Canada all day tomorrow and happy to pair on any Python thing (bonus points for #twisted, #magicWormhole or anything related)

Today at #pyconus sprints, i

- Got my first Beeware coin with 2 PRs
- Contributed to memray and pystack with 4 PRs

First time i explored around. Last time i was helping people with getting around the Pallets

two extremely silly stories from the end of #PyConUS (for me):

waiting for my ride share, a guy comes out of the convention center. "you going to the airport?" I shout. "we could split the fare!"

he asks how much, and I tell him and he's like "that's way more expensive than uber" so we go with his driver. the ride was way shorter than the one into Long Beach, less traffic too.

turns out he literally lives right down the street from me and is trying to break into the industry. pretty good convo, anyway we're here—"What? This isn't LAX!"

and this is why you always ask "which airport?"

I blogged about contributing to CPython. I achieved a goal I set for myself for this #PyConUS and I am very happy!
