The woman's clothing must have been very shocking for 1944, before the concept of the bikini. I guess maybe a nightclub hostess or performer might have worn something like that? Anyway she's a highly trained technician, as we can see from her operating that … thing?

This is a bit weird, even in the context of this collection of crazy magazine covers. I don't know why we see the man in the chair's insides in the part which is *outside* the magnifying-glass area? Or why his heart is in high res and colour but the rest of his system isn't?
