The former Govan Town Hall rising above part of the former Prince's Dock on the southern side of the Clyde in Glasgow. The dock was closed in the 1970s, but it was then re-used as part of the Glasgow Garden Festival site in 1988, which stimulated the regeneration of much of it. However, this section remains unutilised.

The Romanesque style former Prince's Dock hydraulic power station on the south side of the Clyde in Glasgow. Designed by Burnet, Son and Campbell, it was built in 1894 for the Clyde Navigation Trust. In the foregound is the accumulator tower into which water was pumped and held under pressure to provide power to the dock's various cranes, lifts and other equipment.

The Glasgow Tower reflected in the still waters of a remnant of the Princes Dock. Completed in 1897, this dock once contained 35 acres of water space, making it the largest on the upper Clyde. It was closed in the 1970s and most of it was filled in in the 1980s, when it was used for the 1988 Glasgow Garden Festival.

Commemorative stone on Mavisbank Gardens in Glasgow marking the commissioning and construction of the Cessnock Dock, later renamed the Prince's Dock, on the south bank of the Clyde. With 35 acres of water, it was the largest dock on the upper Clyde and it cost almost £1,000,000 build and equip. It closed in the 1970s and in the 1980s, it was filled in. In 1988, it formed the site for the Glasgow Garden Festival.
