Last week, I was at the #Coupled2023 conference in Chania, Crete, Greece. It’s amazing to see what people can do when it comes to #CFD #particle coupling or fluid structure interactions (#FSI). Also quite interesting the sessions on #preCICE , #openfoam and #opensouce

Shout out to Konstantinos and @roenby who gave a fascinating talks on emulsions and FSI. Thanks to Konstantinos and @roenby I have pictures from my talk

#Adventskalender day 23: Is your fluid #cfd solver providing forces, but your structure #fem only accepting stresses? The #preCICE actions interface may be a solution to coupling them: https://precice.org/configuration-action.html

Sometimes, coupled solvers provide just not quite the data that you need to couple. For instance, a fluid solver provides stresses at the coupling boundary, ...

#Adventskalender day 22: Already an invited speaker and a first batch of user talks for the #preCICE Workshop 2023! http://precice.org/precice-workshop-2023.html

#Adventskalender day 14: A step-by-step tutorial on starting with #preCICE, coupling #OpenFOAM with a #cpp example code to simulate an (almost) #fsi case of a flow around a free-rotating body: http://precice.org/quickstart.html
Quickstart | preCICE - The Coupling Library

Install preCICE on Linux (e.g. via a Debian package) and couple an OpenFOAM fluid solver (using the OpenFOAM-preCICE adapter) with an example rigid body solv...

So, I think I am supposed to introduce myself first... 🙈 I am currently a doctoral candidate at the Technical University of Munich and part of the #preCICE development team. I so far enjoyed just following #foss, academic, and #RSE news on Twitter, and this is what I will be mostly be doing here as well, next to managing @precice. Looking forward to learning more every day!
