Something to make my day. Driving along the alleyway between the back of our block and the golf club and this little echidna was busily snuffling through the leaf litter. So busy in fact that I could pull up, stop the engine, and wind down the window to take this picture, then it leisurely finished chomping whatever it'd found and waddled slowly off into the strip of bush between the alleyway and the fairways.
