This is sound advice, but also a timely reminder that the great content debates *will* come to Mastodon at some point. Federation helps to deflect some of the pressure, but once a critical mass of speech migrates here, and governments start to take notice, we will inevitably begin to see the same questions about what to do about illegal content, as well as the "awful but lawful" stuff which is at the core of #contentmoderation debates. #freespeech #platformlaw
