having just spent most of yesterday explaining 'planned obsolescence' (and how the concept relates to software) to my co-workers then my boss, then my boss's boss in order to just get them to buy a new sodding printer. i have come to the conclusion that IT should be a compulsory subject..i a 46 year old should not have to explain what a driver is to a 25 year old or for that matter a 50 year old. ugh. #personalrant
