Finally got my #macintosh performa 6200 to run. Reason was a faulty Cache/ROM-DIMM that I replaced with another faulty DIMM. The third one is working 😀 #retro #retrocomputing #retromacintosh #performa6200

#retrocomputing isn't always fun. So far I've got an #imacg3 with a broken PSU, a #performa6200 with a broken ROM / Cache - DIMM (at least this is what the OS tells me, and this is after I paid to money to get its PSU repaired), a VIC-20 with a broken ihavenoidea. And right now I try to install OS 6 on my #MacintoshSE and it's just a pain in the a$$ to find 4 working DD-floppy-disks *sigh*

My #performa6200 is powering on again. Now it‘s time to install a nice #macos system (I think it’s going to be 7.6.1) #marchintosh
