I will give the company the benefit of the doubt here: I sincerely doubt emotion has anything to do with this decision. I think they are responding as a soulless, unemotional algorithm and seeing a 3-quarter trend in content sales/use decline due to #Meta's showdown with #Canada over #payforcontent #payfornews. And that program suggests it is not profitable enough.

#NB: profits above 14-17% are unsustainable, and lead to starvation/death and riot/civil war, historically.
