Hype for the Future 142B: State of Alaska Explained
Introduction
The State of Alaska is uniquely located largely, though not entirely, north of the Arctic Circle at the northwestern edge of North America, famously ending with the Alaskan Panhandle extending well to the south of the Arctic—as far south as approximately 54°40’ North. However, the Aleutian Islands of the State of Alaska also extend even further south than the Alaska Panhandle, with the southernmost island, Amatignak, near 51° North.
