Today we did a long walk. The village where I live is situated in a valley to be better protected against the strong wind that is sometimes blowing (Tramontana). When one walks a little bit higher you can see the Pyrénées with the Canigou peak and when you turn around there is the étang de Leucate with it’s Oyster farms and the Mediterranean with its sandy beaches. I walked this way so often in the last 14 years but it’s always impressive to experience the beauty of the landscape.
