Dissidia Final Fantasy torna con un nuovo gioco mobile: tra entusiasmo e delusione dei fan
Since launching in the #US in 2018, the mobile game has amassed over 170 characters from across 30 years of #FinalFantasy history, scattered throughout four acts composed of multiple chapters and side stories representing hundreds of hours of a game that can no longer be played. #GamePreservation #MobileGames
It took one fan three years, two terabytes, and over 100 hours of cutscenes to preserve #Dissidia Final Fantasy #OperaOmnia.

Reuploading after some minor fixes for my last Kuja fanart. Something about the right (his left) eye was bugging me; I _think_ this is better but let me know if you have any comments~
Dissidia Opera Omnia went offline yesterday, and reflecting back on the time I spent on it, I still enjoyed it. It was the only gacha game I played that gave me the feeling that I could unlock eonugh stuff, at my own pace, to do the end-game content, and have something to spare.
I remember that I maxxed about 70 characters in three months or so, and its systems made it easier to upgrade more characters the more you have already upgraded. It was a great system, and a great game.
However, every time they brought a new character, or touched upon a character's story, I would want to play that character's game. I know it was the intention (it's one of the intentions of Dissidia games), but it often got me off that game, and made me play something else.
I don't feel that the time was wasted. I got to know a good game, had my fun, experienced some stories, and got a new perception of gacha. I hope to find another game like it.
