Social has definitely crossed an inflection point. Either the Russian Bot story is true and there is a coordinated attack to silence all thought, or our Algorithms have discovered that engagement and advertising are maximized by amplifying vitriol, or humans spend every waking hour as nomadic rage mobs salting the Earth as they roam...

I tend to think the second option is most likely and we need to press a global reset before the Algorithms approach singularity.
