Illuminated cherry blossoms at Himeji Castle
Arriving too late to enter the castle during the day, we were delighted to discover that it reopened at night for *yozakura* — illuminated cherry blossoms after dark. It was one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever witnessed, even if this photo cannot fully capture it.
