People who can't distinguish between my life experienced support for all genderqueer folks and my experienced misogyny from privileged gay men doing drag will probably remain cluelessly stuck under an umbrella they haven't chosen for a long time.

What is there to be proud of? These often gay cisgender men in a drag and their admirers (seeing "nothing sexual" in their performance yet wearing huge plastic breast and tacky make-up, etc.) have been throwing trans women under the bust for decades.

I admit the USA is fascist in banning drag-queens and it should never be that way, yet drag is -not- fabulous, this caricature of womanhood is actually misogynist. Most trans women do not align with drag-queens and conflating the two while drags are on podiums and dare to visit schools while talented trans women's are recurrently silenced is a shame.

Many trans women refuse to be placed under your silly umbrella which erase their needs which, believe me, are more crucial than parading over a podium in an almost hypocritical celebration of diversity.
