unattributed 𓂃✍︎@standardebooks Please do not use Tinyurl or similar tools for encoding/shortening URL's in the #Fediverse. Many of us do not want to be tracked on here...part of what makes the Fediverse amazing is getting from all the corporate, analytics, telemetry, and such stuff. Also, it obfuscates the destination of the URL, make it less trustworthy. Additionally, it may be an accessibility issue (but since I'm not an expert on this topic, I'll let someone more knowledgeable chime in on this point).
This is somewhat of a best practice in the in #Fediverse.
