I don't even *like* the whole mystery polish business model, but I'll be damned if Lumen doesn't keep reeling me back in! 😅

This is Ambition, one of 6 mystery shades from Lumen's Capricorn Zodiac set. It's a gorgeous, ethereal mother-of-pearl shade, featuring a pale blue base loaded with pink to gold color shifting shimmer, pale gold flecks, and a scattering of holo particles (FYI as a mystery this shade doesn’t have an official description, so this is just me trying my best to describe what I see on my nails).

When I saw that Lurid Lacquer was joining Polish Pickup for the first time in January, I was thrilled! I knew no matter the color they chose for the collab, I’d be grabbing a bottle. Luckily, A Fox in the Spring Court turned out to be the sort of prugly, funky neutral that I adore (especially from Lurid)!

This polish features a brick-red base with a stunning green-to-blue aurora shimmer and bronze reflective glitter. The mix of shimmer and base color gives it more of a russet brown vibe than straight-up brick red, but honestly? You won't catch me complaining when it’s such a gorgeous shade! ✨

Name a more perfect shade for the season ✨

Star Destroyer from Mooncat is described as an icy blue-silver metallic flakie lacquer packed with silver metallic flakes and micro holographic glitter, and I’m absolutely mesmerized by how metallic and reflective the finish is. And though it's subtle, the accent of holo glitter amidst the mirror finish flakes is a brilliant choice to add just a hint of rainbow to the composition.
