The Calgary City Council, without the consutation or approval of its citizens, just sold the city's soul for 35 years to a bigotted, homophobic gang of profiteering bullies.

The NHL deserves to die completely, but instead we're giving them tens of billions in revenue, all for the promise of 35 more years of bigotry.

I am a hockey fan. I'm a season ticket holder. Today I am disgusted by the NHL.

In the past, teams have had LGBT nights, and some wore pride jerseys or used pride themed tape on their sticks. No more. The NHL has issued a BAN on all LGBT themes. No jerseys, no tape.

In fact the NHL has banned themes for all theme nights. No more purple for Hockey Fights Cancer, or camo for military appreciation.

How small minded, caving to the few bigots out there.
