many, many hours playing crypt of the necrodancer. such great soundtracks, and the new game is no different.

There isn't actually anything surprising in here if you've worked through the problem of implementing multiplayer for real-time turn-based games (saying it's impossible is one of the reasons I've never had much respect for Ryan Clark), but Adrian Zefyang's half-hour talk about building the netcode for NecroDancer's on-line co-op is a brilliantly clear walkthrough of the difficulties involved. Great talk, great visuals.
