There is an old Samsung NC-10 netbook lurking around in my “hardware archive”. The Intel Atom CPU in there is 32bit only, which somehow limits nowadays, which operating system to choose. I decided to give Haiku a try, and it runs quite fast and smoothly on the device. Several years back, I installed a SSD into the NC-10, which might be at least part of the reason. #haiku #vintagecomputing #retrocomputing #nc10

home #debian machines upgraded to #debian12 (samsung #nc10 and Asus #UX31E), it just worked out of the box, nice! I guess that the hardware will fail before #bookworm goes EOL!

Having grown up in Hickory and watching this meathead in action for years, I welcome the GOP settling on him and for his career to go up in smoke like Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor before him.
