👉This is a consequential decision by @AnthropicAI. The US Administration’s request to block foreign citizens from #fable5 #mythus5 is discriminating and ineffective. It shows however - if you don’t regulate #AI you risk producing more mess than results.

👉What we need now is:

1) European #council should be convened

2) EU must insist to get #access to the models

3) we need a global middle power #alliance (Canada, India, Singapore, uk, Australia etc) to pull together compute capacity through a consortium approach, in line with the project capestry (https://thealliance.ai/projects/tapestry)

4) @EU_Commission must get serious about #gigafactories:
- what is the timeline,
- what’s the business model,
- what are they used for specifically and do we get one for ai cyber defense)
