I spent today working on a project with Rugby Art Gallery and Museum to conserve and archive a collection of over 25k glass plate negatives dating from 1920s onwards.
The negatives are currently stored incorrectly in 100 year old Kodak boxes and part of the process is to unpack, clean, and store them safely so that eventually they can be scanned and made accessible to the public.
