I loved and grew up watching reruns of #themuppetshow and thoroughly enjoyed the pilot special that's just come out on #disneyplus but if it gets picked up for more I hope they have some ideas to keep it interesting.
This special leaned very much on the old formula, which unless the guests are amazing might not interest a modern audience.

Robot Abraham Lincoln is a robot built by Muppet Labs in the likeness of the 16th President of the United States. He terrorizes the cast and crew of Muppets Tonight in episode 206. The character is a spoof of the Disneyland attraction, "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln," which features an audio-animatronic Lincoln who stands, speaks and gestures to the audience. Abraham Lincoln was previously caricatured with Mount Rushmore.
