Aber dann erreichten wir endlich #Mullingar ein schönes und quirliges Städtchen mit knapp 23.000 Einwohnern, fast in der Mitte von #Irland #Mullingar (Gälisch: An Muileann gCearr; Deutsch: die windschiefe Mühle) ist auch Hauptstadt des #Countys_Westmeath und Sitz des römisch-katholischen #Bistums #Meath.

L'une est l'Eglise St Peter-St Paul d'#Athlone, l'autre l'église du Christ-Roi de #Mullingar.
Chacune applique une certaine vision de la Renaissance. Portique pour la première, serlienne (arc reposant sur deux colonnes) pour la deuxième.
Les plans sont basilicaux : transept inscrit dans les bas-côtés.
