A dear friend from Amsterdam came and visited, and we went to the amazing Moistero de Batalha, built to commemorate the Portuguese victory at the battle of Aljubarrota in 1385.

The project originally included seven chapels, whose construction was never finished, leaving them without a ceiling. Kinda reminds me of a Tomb Raider map.

So, I went to the «Mosteiro da Batalha» (Monastery of the Battle) in Portugal. It's a beautiful example of Gothic and «Manuelino» architecture!
