sibbyđ For this ModFest, we made a bard equipment system with a friend! (in both senses!)
In one hand you hold an instrument, which defines how fast you play chords, and how often you can play them.
In the other hand, you hold a "backup singer" companion - colourful spirit critters in this case - which give you four chords you can play.
Tap right click to play the base note, tap left click to free-play a chord. Most importantly - hold right click to charge up each note of the chord, releasing to play it as a "Power Chord", applying status effects in an area.

Let's go check out what the amazing modders have created for Modfest 1.20. They had just a couple of weeks in December 2023 to make mods in the theme of "Sky and Sea". And now they've put together a world and server for us to check out!

FediCraft ( modrinth.com/mod/fedicraft ) allows linking fedi handles in chat and opening them in a fedi client like tokodon, tuba or feditext.
FriendCode ( modrinth.com/mod/friendcode ) changes "open to LAN" to support friend codes. (well more like world codes. but anyway.)

(also our mods print "This software is made with love by a queer trans person." at startup unless we forgot about it. if for some reason they don't, that's a bug.)
