Thomas à Kempis was a priest and devotional writer, speaks of following Christ. Without charity, all other outward works profit nothing. True fruits would only come from doing things out of a spirit of charity.

How can we practice a charitable spirit when dealing with difficult people, practice doing deeds of charity, and do everything with a desire for the promotion of the good of all? (Yes, those people, too!)
