More modding on the Modal Skulpt.

After I remade the cover from solid apple wood some time ago, the last thing that annoyed me was the on off switch. Its so tiny and loose that one little wrong movement can switch off the device.

Since the top is hollow inside with 2mm material strength and enough place in the right spot I managed to fit a proper flip switch.

The edge broke while drilling becquse it jammed but was easy to glue back on reinforce with some epoxy from the inside.

I like.

As the vast majority of my synth parts are meticulously planned, I am trying to sit down with my synths and get a better grip on the subtleties of each one by doing without planning. Not an easy task. At times I realize I have a good portion of equipment that I only comprehend partially.

Gotta change that.
