1/ Travel update: My checked-in luggage with my number-cruncher laptop, holiday reads, papers, clothes, toiletries etc has not shown up. Curiously, the missus's luggage did.
I decided to reach out to the airline to check what was up. And this is where you start to see the madness and depravity that is the modern, SIM*-driven service industry.
* SIM: Statistical inference machines (my suggested substitute for the much-abused term AI)
