since the rel value `banner` is dropped since html3 in microformats

what's the replacement? or alternative?

#ProFed has a logo now – and a running test installation.

I've imported a profile using the Profile Importer, which reads an existing website using h-resume #microformat tags. The imported account is already visible in #Mastodon.

Follow and FollowUndo activities can already be received, though it doesn't mean anything yet. The plumbing is there.

What do you think about that?

The discussion after my first post on #ProFed produced great feedback. I've been working on the website since.

In the meantime, development continues. I've started to work on the Profile Importer: a component that reads your existing online profile using `h-resume` #microformat tags and uses it as your #Fediverse profile.

No new posts on my blog since 2026 began... because I've been adding new features on my Hugo site instead!

I have 5 new pages:
- All (aka Firehose feed)

and 2 IndieWeb pages:
- Notes (aka microblogs)

A page I really enjoyed making was the Statistics page. I added a new line graph from #ECharts and used Hugo inbuilt calculations.

Are #microformat ony used by #searchengine or there are some nice plugins to crop everything unrelated and only show content?

I assume #readerview ( #firefox ) may use them, to select what to show and what to not, but I couldnt find any good plugins.

So far I know existance of: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/microformats-reader/ but it doesnt seem to support anything besides couple of attributes :l

I've added #syndication to my #bookblog 😃 It uses h-review #microformat, #microformat2 (yeah, I know it will likely be replaced by h-entry soon, but it's good for now).
