@VD15 sadly the latter one necessitates #microSDexpress and it's #PCIe / #NVMe-based #SDexpress interface.
That being said #microSD->#SD adaptors are common in some #industrial / #embedded systems with #RaspberryPi to easily swap OSes and exchange data.
Kinda like that SD adaptor (video via @rasteri)…

Crazy stuff. 1TB #NVMe in #microSD size. This will reach higher capacities, thanks to #Nintendo. There needs to be a force pushing this stuff from behind. We would've still got stuck with the inferior Intel if Apple didn't go for ARM. Although it is annoying that most consumer SSDs are still capped at 8TB.
