I’ve been a #teacher for 20 years, and most of that in the 3rd grade. This year’s #67 Meme craze has been the single greatest moment for my #math #instruction. I told kids they can say it as much as they want, but they have to then also say the product of 6x7. Ta Da! This tricky fact has become a benchmark equation, and my rule has spread across the school. SUCCESS!! My enthusiastic embrace of the #meme also made it less cool to say constantly. MORE SUCCESS!!! #education #mathstrategies
