Bought a new Moleskine notebook today, the first in a while. Definitely a price increase. I've been using a notebook I was given when I was interviewed for NHK's abc documentary, and what with working in industry, it's taken me longer to fill it up.

But there's nothing like a fresh, nice notebook asking to have mathematics written in it.

The trick is to know which mathematics to do first. I think going through my digital notes on my tablet that are intended for what will replace my retracted paper, and transcribing all the good bits.

Just realised our paper has been under review at the journal for just over 13 months now.

And I also have to track down a piece of paper and type up a calculation from two and a half years ago...
