A sometime parishioner died about two weeks ago. I paid visits to him in the hospital and was in contact with his daughter. Another church is doing the funeral (I think he worshiped at every church in town) and I was asked to be one of the readers. The service is today at 9:30.
The holiday threw me off and I realized it was today in time to get changed and get to the cemetery.

So, class, what have we learned today?
Well, photos in WordPress galleries don't federate very well.
Like, at all.
So putting a gallery into a post may look good on the site, but isn't visible through a Fediverse client.
The default WP behaviour with photos federates better, but doesn't look quite as tidy on the site.
Also, if you spend all morning experimenting with ways of posting photos on WP/The Fediverse, you're gonna miss the bus to work!
